The most commonly used fan is the FR-150 since it has both good air flow and vacuum characteristics. We offer the other fans since there may be some applications where they could be used, but in most residential applications, the FR-150 is generally the most appropriate. This is also why the FR-150 is the frame that is used for the KTA low voltage system.

The FR and HP Series fans are manufactured to be installed outdoors or in wet locations. These fans are caulked at the motor screws, the wiring cables, and along the seams of the fan. The handy box (or wiring compartment) is sealed with a waterproof gasket.
